About Me
What Got Me Started
I started including hobbies in my daily life around the age of 20. I bought my first Associated RC10 radio controlled car. I began to race it at the local r/c track in my hometown. From that moment on I was hooked.
As I progressed in life and moved to the DFW area, I was exposed to various other hobbies that I incorporated into my life. I found a love for saltwater fish tanks. I can still remember the first saltwater aquarium I saw in a pet shop. I knew I had to have a piece of the ocean in my life.
When I traveled for work, I was seeing various landmarks and remarkable landscapes during my time on the road. So I began to take pictures of what I was seeing to share with my parents back home in MS.
I have always had a love affair with cars and trains. There was always three types of entertainment in my bedroom as a kid; a slot car track, an electric football set and a train set. Of the three, I ended up loving the idea of creating a miniature world to run my trains in. It also didn’t hurt that I worked in the railroad industry for 30 years.
I am honored you have chosen to spend some time to see what interest me.
