I have been involved in the model railroad hobby for over five years now. I choose N scale, 1:160, a my scale of choice. I choose it because it is more space friendly.

European Based Layout

This is my current layout project. It is an around the room shelf layout. The layout is in a 13′ x 11′ room in my home.

My Retired Freelance Layout

This was a layout I worked on for three years before making the move back to MS. The layout itself measured 12′ x 4′ on a custom made table top.

My Retired In-wall Switching Layout

When space is limited, you use what you have. The only space I had available to create a small layout was in two nooks behind my couch. So I decided to design and construct a point to point switching layout.
